Erin and Philip Stead are Coming Tomorrow!

Erin and Philip Stead, illustrator and author dynamic duo, will be here in Sunday, September 16th at 3 p.m. to present their new book, Bear Has a Story to Tell. It's off to a great start, making this week's New York Times Best Seller list in it's first week after publication. They had previously collaborated on A Sick Day for Amos McGee, which won the Caldecott Medal last year.

So we're really thrilled here at Little Shop to be hosting the Steads for the first time ever!

Before you come tomorrow, please check out the rest of the Times' list. Anna Dewdney (Llama Llama Time to Share), Jamie Lee Curtis (My Brave Year of Firsts), and Mo Willems (Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs) have each visited us within the past couple of years. Ian Falconer has a new Olivia book and, while he doesn't tour, his publisher did send an Olivia costume to the Decatur Book Festival earlier this month. Karma Wilson (Bear Says Thanks) came in person to the book festival and made pretty much everyone fall in love with her. (We have some signed copies her new book for sale in the shop.) Frequent visitors James Dean and Eric Litwin have THREE Pete the Cat books on the list. Eric will be here on September 29th at 6 p.m. to introduce their fourth book, Pete the Cat Saves Christmas.
